1 John 3:1–2
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
“None is righteous, no, not one;
no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”
A young man sought to hear God’s voice, so he climbed a high hill and shouted to the heavens, “Speak to me, Lord!” But no voice answered.
Frustrated, he wandered into the forest below. There, he heard the rustling leaves.
"Listen," the wind whispered.
He sat by a river, where the water murmured over the stones.
"Follow," the current sang.
A bird called out from a branch above.
"Trust," its song declared.
That night, he lay beneath the stars, and a stillness settled in his heart. He finally understood—God had been speaking all along, not in thunder or shouts, but in the quiet things.
From that day on, he no longer begged for God’s voice—he simply listened.
If you’re walking through a storm, you are never alone. Jesus walks beside you, even when the night feels endless. Hold onto faith—sometimes the darkest moments come just before the dawn. You are seen, you are known, and you are deeply loved.
Lift your eyes to Him. Hope is near.
